Laura Fedeli is an Italian creative writer
and filmmaker based in Scotland.  
 
In 2014 she moved in Edinburgh
as she wanted to explore a change of scenario.
She is principally a writer, she loves to combine poetry and photography. 

Since she is also very skilled with conceptual art and creative with the visual associations of images, she frequently works through these elements bringing into life concrete visual poems on screen.
 
Her films often depict outsider characters with an extreme struggle in communicating their feelings toward themselves and the others with a special focus on exploring the representation of women in cinema.
 
 She completed a Visual Art Degree at the Academy of Fine Art in Macerata (2011, Italy).
  She got her second degree with a BA (Hons)
in Film Directing at the Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh.

In 2022, she publishes her first collection of poems 'Solchi' with the publisher Italic Pequod.
